Trainer Training Program with Expert Mapping in Pokhara

A five-day Trainer Training Program began in Pokhara on October 9, 2025 (Ashoj 23, 2082 B.S.), with the theme, "Change in Behavior, Improvement in Performance."
This program is organized by the Gandaki Province Training Academy (Prashikshan Pratisthan), Pokhara, in cooperation with the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.
At the opening ceremony, Dundu Raj Ghimire, Chief Secretary of the Gandaki Province Government, spoke as the chief guest. He mentioned that the Gandaki Province Training Academy has been conducting training at the level of NASC since 2018 (2075 B.S.).
He stressed that the knowledge gained from the training must be put into action and taken to local communities in a practical way.
Instructors are guiding the sessions under the leadership of Binod Kumar Bista, Senior Study Director at the Nepal Administrative Staff College.
The program covers several important topics, including training needs assessment, curriculum design, setting session objectives, selecting training methods, presentation skills, training management, participatory learning, and various aspects of coordination.
The Gandaki Province Training Academy is an integrated training center (Staff College) under the Gandaki Province Government. Its main role is to improve the skills of province and local level employees, elected representatives, and appointed officials.
The inauguration event was chaired by Surendra Babu Tiwari, Executive Director of the Gandaki Province Training Academy, while Laxman Timilsina, Training Coordinator and Director, managed the proceedings.
The training will run until October 13, 2025 (Ashoj 27, 2082 B.S.), and involves 32 participants from the region.
