Sunchandi Women’s Group Marks 14th Anniversary by Donating to School for Children with Intellectual Disabilities

Chitwan, 21 August – The Sunchandi Businesswomen’s Group, Chitwan, celebrated its 14th anniversary on Thursday at Bal Kumari National School for the Welfare of Children with Intellectual Disabilities, located on the banks of the Narayani River in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1.
To mark the occasion, the group handed over gas cylinders, stoves, and food supplies worth NPR 15,000 to the school.
Speaking as the chair of the program, Group President Kalpana Gotame highlighted that the group has accomplished many tasks in the past 14 years and emphasized the need for collective effort to complete the remaining ones.
Chief guest Utsav Khati B.K., Senior Vice President of the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Chitwan, praised the group’s continuous contributions since its establishment and expressed his commitment to supporting its future activities.
Similarly, Roshan Maskey, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, expressed gratitude to the group for choosing to donate essential items to the school on its anniversary.
The program also featured the presence of the group’s former presidents, Shanta Thapa B.K. and Rupa Barali.
The event was coordinated by Second Vice President Bishnumaya Khati and facilitated by General Secretary Manju Bishwakarma.
