Sony Thapa Elected Women Coordinator of Nepalese Society, Texas

Texas — Sony Thapa (also known as Sonysha) has been elected as the Women Coordinator of the Nepalese Society, Texas for the 2026–2027 term.

Following the election, Thapa expressed her commitment to strengthening women’s participation, promoting cultural unity, and supporting community-focused initiatives within the organization. As Women Coordinator, she is expected to play a key role in advocacy, engagement programs, and collaboration among members of the Nepalese community in Texas.
