Adjustment of Sirjana Chautari and Fewa Begnas Chautari

Pokhara — Two clubs under Lions International District 325 J Nepal, Pokhara Sirjana Chautari and Pokhara Fewa Begnas Chautari, have been merged. Sirjana Chautari, established in 2012, merged with Fewa Begnas Chautari, established in 2016 as its sponsor, into the “mother club,” bringing the total membership of Sirjana Chautari to 54.
Sirjana Chautari organized a program on Thursday to welcome the members who joined through this merger. The event was chaired by Janakraj Parajuli, President of Lions Club Pokhara Sirjana Chautari for the year 2025/2026.
The program was attended by Sirjana Chautari’s founding president Balkrishna Baral, Fewa Begnas Chautari’s founding president Santosh Ghimire, and former presidents of both clubs, including Jit Bahadur Thapa Gopal, Jiban Gorkhali, Tanka Dhakal, Maheshwar Rimal, Raju Baral, Bidhan Gautam, Rajaram Paudel, Umapati Dhakal, Tika Bahadur Lamsal, and Chitra Gurung. Also present were Second Vice President Ramesh Adhikari, Third Vice President Krishnaprasad Acharya, and Co-Treasurer Rajesh Dhungana, who expressed confidence that the merger would make the clubs’ work more effective.
Both clubs committed to maintaining the reputation they have built over the years and to operating as a distinguished club in the district while carrying out their activities. The program was conducted by Sirjana Chautari’s secretary Khageshwar Paudel, and the welcome speech was delivered by First Vice President Shanti Sigdel.
