Seto Jutta”: New Nepali Song Released in Memory of the September 23 Zen Z Protest
Kathmandu – Singer Himal Ghimire and vocalist Deepika Bayambu Magar have released a new Nepali song titled “Seto Jutta”.
The song is dedicated to the memory of 19 youths who were killed by the Nepal government during the Zen Z protest on September 23. So far, a total of 73 people have lost their lives related to this movement.
The lyrics and music are composed by Himal Ghimire. The song features traditional instruments including dholak, tabla, demdi, flute, and sarangi. Rajendra Bajurali arranged the music and edited the vocals, while Khadak Bajurali handled mixing and mastering.
The video is shot and edited by Rajesh Bohara, with assistant cinematography by Nitin BK. Color grading and poster design were done by Amit BK, and post-production was completed by Shreeram Films Kathmandu.
Released on Himal Ghimire’s official YouTube channel, the song honors the sacrifice of the youths who lost their lives during the September 23 Zen Z protest.
