Saphal Nirmaya Dohori Sanjh Celebrates 21st Anniversary with Performances by Renowned Folk Artists

Pokhara – Saphal Nirmaya Dohori Sanjh & Restaurant Pvt. Ltd., a well-known cultural and musical establishment in Pokhara, is set to celebrate its 21st anniversary in grand style with a special musical event.

The celebration, scheduled from Ashar 15 to 20, will feature live performances by prominent names from the Nepali folk music scene including Geeta Paija, Shyam Rana, Tika Sanu, Siddhartha Ale, Maya Gurung, and Chij Gurung. According to the restaurant’s manager Indra Pun, regular in-house artists will also perform during the event.

Co-owner Jivan Gurung stated that the restaurant has made significant contributions to the preservation and promotion of traditional Nepali folk culture over the past two decades. “Our goal is not only to offer quality hospitality services but also to preserve and promote Nepal’s authentic folk culture and identity. That’s why we mark our anniversary every year with a rich musical celebration,” he added.

He expressed confidence that the event will help spark greater interest in folk traditions among the younger generation. Audiences can expect an immersive experience featuring live folk music performances, traditional dances, and other entertainment segments.
