Nepal Must Be a Sanatan Hindu Nation: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Central Member Kiran
Kathmandu – Ravi Kiran Hamal, central member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has demanded that Nepal be re-established as a Sanatan Hindu nation. He expressed this demand while participating in the Pashupati Manakamana Purti and Sankatmochan Virat Gyan Mahayagya–2082.
Addressing the historic Mahayagya ongoing in the Pashupati area, Hamal emphasized that since the roots of Hindu religion and culture are deeply embedded in Nepali soil, the country should progress according to Sanatan values and traditions. According to him, religious rituals like the Mahayagya not only instill faith and morality in society but also help reduce serious social problems such as increasing murders, violence, and rape across the country, guiding people toward responsible, disciplined, and positive lifestyles.
Hamal said, “The chanting of Vedic mantras purifies the entire universe. It not only frees the nation from crises but also leads it toward a bright future.” He also expressed a wish that Lord Pashupatinath bless all Nepalis with lasting peace, progress, and well-being.
Thousands of devotees are participating in the Mahayagya, while Vedic priests and pundits are continuously performing mantras, sermons, and religious rituals. According to the organizing committee, the Mahayagya aims to spread religious awareness, moral values, and the message of national unity in society.
