Rastriya Prajatantra Party Buddhashanti's Eco-Friendly Tribute

In a move hailed as socially and environmentally progressive, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Buddhashanti Village Committee has officially announced the end of the traditional practice of offering condolence "frames" during times of bereavement. Instead, the party has decided to honor the memory of the deceased by planting trees.

The decision was made during a committee meeting held yesterday. Speaking on the occasion, committee president Ganesh Prasad Kharel stated,“We have resolved to begin a new practice by discontinuing the use of condolence frames. By planting trees, we not only pay tribute to the departed souls but also spread the message of environmental conservation.”

This initiative is part of the broader Naveen Rastriya Prajatantra Abhiyan (New RPP Campaign), through which the party has been promoting unique and awareness-driven programs in the community.

Local residents have widely appreciated the decision, calling it “timely and emotionally meaningful.” Many believe this new tradition will not only serve as a living memory of the departed but also instill environmentally conscious values in future generations.

The RPP Buddhashanti’s move stands out as a symbolic blend of cultural respect and ecological responsibility — turning moments of loss into seeds of hope and greenery.
