Youth Protest and Vandalize Communications Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung’s Residence

Some youths have surrounded and vandalized the residence of Communications Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung in Lalitpur. Protests are reportedly taking place around the homes of other political leaders as well.

The main reason behind this anger is the government’s violent action the previous day, which resulted in the death of 19 ‘Gen Z’ protesters and left hundreds injured. In response, youths have taken to the streets to protest against the government.

Protesters are demanding justice, urging the government to take action against corruption. Security forces have deployed police at the scene to try to control the situation.
