Pame Cooperative Marks 15th General Assembly with Cleanup Drive and Support to Ashram

On the occasion of its 15th General Assembly, Pame Savings and Credit Cooperative organized a series of social programs. On Saturday, the cooperative conducted a cleanup campaign in Pame Bazaar, Pokhara-24, while on Sunday it provided meals to young students (Batuks) and extended support to Siddhbarah Tapoban Ashram. The 15th General Assembly is scheduled to take place on Monday at Pame, Pokhara-24.
According to Cooperative Manager Suryamohan Parajuli, the cleanup drive collected plastics, bottles, roadside bushes, and other waste from Pame Bazaar. He emphasized the importance of keeping the marketplace clean, pointing out that unmanaged waste could flow into Fewa Lake. He further noted that the cooperative organizes such sanitation campaigns annually as part of its social responsibility.
Similarly, on Sunday, the cooperative offered financial assistance, food supplies, and provided meals and offerings to the Batuks at Siddhbarah Tapoban Ashram in Majhthum, Pokhara-23. Cooperative Chairperson Nawaraj Parajuli stated that the organization has been consistently undertaking various social responsibility initiatives.
