NRNA Steering Committee Meeting Scheduled for Friday After Unity
Kathmandu. The first meeting of the Steering Committee is being held following the unity and formation of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).
It is announced that the meeting will be held on Friday, December 5, at 9 AM. Unity between the two factions of NRNA, Mahesh Kumar Shrestha and Dr. Badri KC, took place last Sunday in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
An 11-member Steering Committee has been formed after the unification. The names of 10 members of this committee have been made public, and the name of one person is said to be made public soon.
In the first meeting, there will be discussions on making the association's work efficient and also about the 12th General Convention according to the agreement.
The members of the Steering Committee are Mahesh Kumar Shrestha, Dr. Badri KC, Binod Kunwar, RK Sharma, Binod Shrestha, BR Lama, Gauriraj Joshi, Ratan Jha, Gangadhar Gautam, and Bhawani Oli.
Following the unity, the NRNA is currently discussing and advocating for its issues with the President and leaders of various political parties.
