Welcome and Congratulations Exchange Program Held for Newly Elected NCC Presidents, Office Bearers, and ICC Members

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) organized a welcome and congratulations exchange program in honor of the newly elected Presidents, office bearers, and ICC members of the National Coordination Councils (NCCs) who were elected in the month of July.

The event, held virtually on Sunday evening (August 10, 2025), featured NRNA International Coordination Council President Dr. Badri KC, who stated that both the general assembly and the elections are the legal rights of the NCCs. He expressed gratitude to all NCCs for successfully and smoothly completing these processes.

During the program, NRNA Vice President Dr. Hemraj Sharma presented on the topic “The Journey of the Non-Resident Nepali Association,” highlighting that since the 2015 Constitution of Nepal officially recognized the definition of Non-Resident Nepalis, the matter has been firmly established within the global Nepali diaspora. Women Vice President Rojina Pradhan Rai remarked that the prestige of the Association rests on the strength of the NCCs, urging adherence to rules and regulations to uphold its dignity.

The program, coordinated by General Secretary Gauriraj Joshi, also featured congratulatory remarks from Vice Presidents Ramsharan Simkhada and Rabin Prasad Sherchan, Spokesperson Phanindra Pant, Women Coordinator Anuja Pradhan, Youth Vice President Roshan Thapa, DRC Robert Limbu, Europe Secretary Bhuvan Aryal, Deputy Treasurer Kanchan Thapa, Secretary Parasmani Pokhrel, Oceania Regional Coordinator Dinesh Pokhrel, and America Regional Coordinator Bed Basnet.

With over 600 participants in attendance, the newly elected Presidents and office bearers shared their future plans, experiences, and suggestions.
