Directive to take action against those smoking in public areas

The Chief of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Metropolitan Police Force, Bishnu Prasad Joshi, has directed the metropolitan police to bring those smoking within public areas under the scope of legal action.
On Wednesday, at the Metropolitan Police Force office, he instructed all ranks of city police to effectively bring those smoking in public areas under the scope of action, noting that the campaign to stop smoking within public areas appeared to have weakened somewhat.
