New Nepali Film ‘Bakas’ Announced on the Auspicious Occasion of Guru Purnima

Kathmandu — On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, a new Nepali film titled Bakas has been officially announced. The film will be produced under the banner of PK Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and directed by Navin Pant, who is also the writer of the story.

Based on a storyline rooted in the Nepali context, Bakas is set to be filmed both in Nepal and abroad. According to the production team, the script is currently in its final stages, and the selection of cast and crew will begin soon.

The film will feature songs by lyricists Shankar Adhikari Ghayal and Narayan Basnet. Scheduled to go on floors after the Tihar festival, Bakas is targeted for release in the Nepali year 2083 (2026 AD).
