Ramkaji Kone Appointed Chairperson of Nepal Muktak Academy Central Committee

The 12th General Assembly of the Nepal Muktak Academy Central Committee, Kathmandu, held yesterday in the capital, has formed a new executive committee under the chairmanship of Muktak writer Ramkaji Kone.

Radheshyam Lekali has been selected as the Vice-Chairperson, Yadav Bhattarai as General Secretary, Badal Ghimire as Secretary, Dibya Giri as Treasurer, and Er. Bishnu Bahadur Singh and Gupta Bahadur Shrestha as members of the Academy.

Similarly, Biyogi Budhathoki has been nominated as an advisor to the organization, while Gyanuwakar Paudel, Tirtha Shrestha, and Prof. Dr. Laxman Prasad Gautam continue in their roles as advisors. The assembly has also assigned Nisha K.C. the responsibility of establishing a chapter in Michigan, USA.

Earlier during the General Assembly, the general secretary's report presented by Yadav Bhattarai and the financial report presented by treasurer Nisha K.C. were approved.

The Academy has also announced that it will organize Muktak Day and the Academy's anniversary ceremony on February 1, 2026.
