Nepal Engineering College and SONA Sign Academic Partnership Agreement
Nepal Engineering College (NEC) and the Society of Nepalese Architects (SONA) have signed an academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote educational and professional collaboration. This partnership aims to enrich academic and professional activities within the college, enhancing the learning environment for students of engineering and architecture.
The MoU was signed by NEC Principal Dr. Durga Prasad Bhandari and SONA President Mr. Ishwar Lal Joshi. According to Principal Bhandari, the agreement will pave the way for joint initiatives such as research, workshops, seminars, and student engagement programs.
The agreement outlines plans to foster innovation in engineering and architecture, promote skill development, encourage sustainable and practical design practices, strengthen ties between academia and industry, and facilitate expert-led sessions and interactions for students.
This collaboration is seen as a significant step toward enhancing the quality of engineering and architectural education in Nepal. As a non-profit academic institution, NEC has consistently collaborated with various organizations to support student learning and development.
