Nepal Army Tightens Security, Suspicious Items Disposed and Weapons Seized

The Nepal Army, in a Facebook post, has informed that it has intensified security operations across the country. According to the post, these operations have led to the disposal of suspicious items, the apprehension of suspects, and the seizure of weapons.
A suspicious package found at Hospital Chowk in Ward No. 8 of Bhadrapur Municipality, Jhapa, was safely disposed of by the Nepal Army.
In Kathmandu’s Maharajgunj area, two suspicious individuals were apprehended along with several mobile phones and foreign currency.
Additionally, 43 inmates who had escaped from Dhading Prison in Gajuri, Dhading, were recaptured.
So far, a total of 135 firearms have been recovered from various locations.
The Nepal Army emphasized that it will continue its vigilance to ensure public safety and prevent criminal activities.
