Growing Attraction of Farmers, Entrepreneurs, and Investors: Nepal Agritech Exhibition
Bharatpur. Significant interest has been observed from agricultural entrepreneurs, farmers, concerned authorities, and business houses across the country regarding the 'Nepal Agritech International Expo,' which is being organized with the aim of modernizing the agricultural sector and promoting innovative technology.
According to the organizers, Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt. Ltd., stall bookings for the international exhibition, to be held at the Chitwan Expo Center from Magh 2 to 4, are progressing rapidly, with only a limited number of stalls currently available.
The expo will feature participation from companies providing agricultural technology, dairy, animal husbandry, agricultural tools, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, food processing, agricultural machinery, animal health services, and financial solutions from various countries, including Nepal, India, and China. This will provide an opportunity for farmers and businesspersons to observe modern technology and gain direct information in one place.
This expo is not just an exhibition but an effective platform for investment in the agricultural sector, technology transfer, and professional collaboration. It will provide practical knowledge and networking opportunities, especially for commercial farmers, agro-entrepreneurs, cooperatives, researchers, and students.
Free entry has been arranged for this international expo. The organizers believe the expo will contribute toward making Nepal’s agricultural sector more production-oriented and self-reliant through direct demonstrations, demos, and consultancy services ranging from modern agricultural tools to large machinery.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development of the Government of Nepal and the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project are the promoters of this international exhibition.
Supporting organizations include the National Dairy Development Board, Nepal Agricultural Cooperative Central Federation Ltd., National Farmers Group Federation Nepal, Municipal Association of Nepal, Nepal Poultry Federation, Mushroom Farmers Association Nepal, Agriculture and Forestry University, and Chitwan Association of Industries.
