NEJA to Celebrate 19th Anniversary with Diverse Programs in Dallas

On the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Nepal America Journalists' Association (NEJA), an organization of Nepalese journalists active in North America, various programs have been organized. NEJA is set to celebrate its 19th Foundation Day by organizing several events in Dallas, Texas, on April 18 and 19.

To mark the anniversary, NEJA will host a dialogue program on Nepal-America relations as part of the NEJA Conclave on April 18, along with a speech series titled "Diverse Communities as America's Strength." State legislators, representatives from various cities, Nepalese diplomats, community leaders, and media persons will share their views during the event.

On the same day, there will be panel discussions regarding diversity in media and community issues, as well as Nepal's representation in global media, including reality and global perspectives. Similarly, a program for sharing experiences among those who have been operating community media in the diaspora for a long time will be held regarding the management of community media in the diaspora.

Furthermore, an interactive dialogue program regarding migrant investment in Nepal has been organized for April 19 in Irving, Dallas. The interaction, organized by NEJA in collaboration with the Government of Nepal and the Office of the Consulate General in Dallas, Texas, will see participation from entrepreneurs, investors, and journalists. Nepalese diplomats will also participate in both programs.

Additionally, in connection with NEJA Foundation Day, a blood donation drive is being held on the morning of April 19 from 9 AM to 3 PM in collaboration with Blood Donors of America and with the support of the Youth Medical Alliance Association.neja-conclave-1775976172.jpeg
