NEJA Condemns Violence During Gen-Z Protest in Nepal
Kathmandu : The Nepal-America Journalists Association (NEJA) has condemned the violent incidents during the Gen-Z protest. NEJA expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and wished speedy recovery to the injured journalists—Shyam Shrestha, Dipendra Dhungana, Shambhu Dangal, and Umesh Karki.
The association also criticized the attack on Thaha Khabar office and called for compensation for damages. NEJA urged the government and all parties to act responsibly, ensure peaceful protests, and respect press freedom.
