Mushroom Producers Association of Nepal Announces New Working Committee
Kathmandu: The general convention of the Mushroom Producers Association of Nepal, Kathmandu District Committee, concluded today and announced a new working committee.
The committee has handed over the responsibility to the new leadership to make mushroom production, technology development, and market management effective in the district.
According to the convention's decision, Pradip Tamang was unanimously selected as the Chairman of the Kathmandu District Committee.
Prioritizing farmer-friendly programs and organizational expansion, KP Limbu was nominated as Vice-Chairman, Raj Khadka as Secretary, Mohan Magarati as Deputy Secretary, and Prakash Bogati as Treasurer.
Similarly, the members include Suman Thakuri, Girg Bahadur Tamang, Sangram Tamang, and Rabin Gautam. The committee has also decided to nominate two female members later.
According to the committee, the new leadership will prioritize and advance an action plan focusing on programs such as technology-friendly training for farmers, availability of quality seeds and compost, market coordination, and increasing youth and women participation.
