Lions Club Blood Donation Program Concluded at Maididevi Temple
A public blood donation program was successfully held at Maididevi Temple, jointly organized by the Lions Club of Auto Social Friends, the Mahila Jagaran Manch (Women's Awareness Forum), and the Auto Nepal magazine.
Kristina Tamrakar, President of the Lions Club, stated that 30 people donated blood in the program and the event was highly successful due to everyone's cooperation.
The supporting Mahila Jagaran Manch has been regularly organizing blood donation programs every three months for the past 17 years.
Radha Kumari Shrestha, President of the club, mentioned that due to lack of space and the extremely cramped program venue right beside the road, 7 people out of the estimated 35 donors could not donate blood due to their health conditions.
During the blood donation program, Lions Leader Bishnu Bahadur Shrestha, a resident of Sundarijal, donated blood for the 99th time on the occasion of his mother's birthday. Additionally, (3 members of the same family) the organization's Treasurer, Lion Kristina Tamrakar, her sister Elisha Tamrakar, and her daughter Krisha Shakya also donated blood.
Lions Leader Roshan Kumar Shrestha, District Corporate Communication Chief, informed that Senior Lions Leaders and other Lions members were present at the club, which operates under Lions International District 325J Nepal.
