Kulman Ghising Returns to Nepal After Completing US–Europe Visit
Kathmandu — Kulman Ghising has returned to Nepal after completing nearly a month-long visit to the United States and several European countries. In a Facebook post, he shared that the purpose of the trip was to promote the “Ujyaloo Nepal Campaign” internationally, interact directly with the Nepali diaspora, and discuss Nepal’s achievements and future possibilities in the energy sector.
During the visit, Ghising was honored with the ‘Global Hero Award’ in New York. He was also invited as a keynote speaker and special guest by organizations such as the American Society of Nepalese Engineers Association, Tamu Dhee UK, and NRNA, among others. Nepali community organizations in Belgium, Portugal, Malta, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and other countries also welcomed and honored him.
Ghising further held interactions with Nepali scientists, professors, researchers, and students working at prestigious institutions like Harvard and MIT.
Upon his return to Nepal, Ghising expressed his commitment to move the Ujyaloo Nepal Campaign forward in a more organized way, taking into account the support and suggestions he received during his trip.
