Kathmandu Valley Returning to Normal, Public Requested to Stay Indoors
Kathmandu, Sept 10: Daily life in the Kathmandu Valley is gradually returning to normal. Following the deployment of the Nepal Army along with other security forces to maintain law and order in the country, life in the valley has started to stabilize.
At the same time, the Nepal Army has requested the general public not to leave their homes except for essential purposes. With all security agencies deployed to protect historical, social, cultural, religious sites as well as private property, the army has once again urged people to immediately inform security forces if they become aware of any suspicious activities.
At present, there is a heavy presence of security personnel on the streets. However, the movement of people and vehicles remains minimal. Security personnel are also engaged in efforts to extinguish fires set by protesters on public and private property.
