Mohan Bahadur Thapa Elected Chairperson of Kalika Secondary School Management Committee

Pokhara, September 3 – Mohan Bahadur Thapa has been unanimously elected as the chairperson of the Kalika Secondary School Management Committee, located in Pokhara-33, Aapubhanjyang.

The selection followed a parent meeting held on Bhadra 6, chaired by the outgoing committee chair Gangabahadur Pun, with Ram Prasad Tiwari, Branch Officer of the Education Directorate, as the chief guest, and Ward Member Durgadevi KC Thapa as a special guest. Members nominated by the Ward Education Committee also attended, and in a subsequent meeting on Wednesday, Thapa was unanimously elected as chairperson.

The committee members include Khimbahadur Khatri, Krishnakumar Shrestha, Jyoti Gurung, Asmita Nepali, and Sita Bik. Additionally, following Rule 29 (ङ) of the Pokhara Metropolitan Education Regulations, local intellectual and donor Loknath Paudel has been nominated as a member. The committee’s secretary is Principal Rupindra Prabhabi Joshi, and the teacher representative is Mankaji B.k.

After being elected, Thapa expressed his commitment to addressing the school’s existing issues and promoting comprehensive development. Emphasizing that the school is a shared asset for the community, he stated that he has a plan to transform the school from a place that seeks students to one where students are eager to come.
