Kalash Savings and Credit Cooperative's 14th Annual General Meeting Concludes in Pokhara
Pokhara - The 14th Annual General Meeting of Kalash Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited, located at New Road, Pokhara Metropolitan City-8, concluded in Pokhara. The meeting, held at Dibyashree Banquet, Nagdhunga, was chaired by the organization's Chairman, Sudip Adhikari. The chief guest of the program, the cooperative's senior member Dambar Bahadur Chhetri, inaugurated the event by signing the banner.
In the meeting, Chairman of the Cooperative, Sudip Adhikari, stated that the organization has prioritized the protection of members' savings and investments in its operations. He mentioned that the problems seen in some cooperatives in the market have affected even the well-managed ones, emphasizing the crucial role of members in making the institution strong.
Chairman Adhikari further stated that the continuous monitoring and interest of the members will help guide the institution towards the right destination. Expressing his commitment to the welfare of the shareholders, Adhikari anticipated greater active participation from the members for the development of the organization.
On the occasion of the meeting, shareholders who conducted excellent financial transactions with the institution—Anmol Ratna Tamrakar, Surya Giri, and Kamala Hamal—were honored. During the program, Treasurer Ekraj Giri presented the financial report for the fiscal year 2081/82, Coordinator of the Audit Supervisory Committee Bijendra Sharma Paudel presented the audit supervision report for the fiscal year 2081/82, and Chairman Sudip Adhikari and Secretary Rupak Raj Mishra presented their respective annual progress reports for 2081/82.
The resignation of two executive committee members, who cited health reasons, was accepted at the meeting. An election committee was formed to elect new members, coordinated by the institution's member Dr. Bishnu Prasad Chapagain, with Nabaraj Subedi and Harsh Bahadur Adhikari Miraj as members. Shareholder Prabha Kumari Rajbhat and Shareholder Durgadatta Paudel were elected to the vacant executive committee member positions.
The program was conducted by the institution's Secretary, Rupak Raj Mishra. Ward Member of Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 24 and shareholder of the cooperative, Krishna Prasad Subedi, and shareholder Kabita Bhusal delivered congratulatory speeches at the meeting.
