JSP Nepal Withdraws Support from Lumbini Provincial Government
Kathmandu — The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has officially withdrawn its support from the Lumbini Provincial Government.
Ambika Kafle, a Provincial Assembly Member representing the party, submitted a formal notice to the Speaker on Friday, informing that the party has decided to withdraw its backing from the government led by Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya.
The decision was made in accordance with Article 188, Sub-Article (2) of the Constitution of Nepal, which allows a party to revoke its support to the provincial government.
