Janakpurdham Schools to Close for Three Days Due to Historic Vivah Panchami Festival
Janakpur. Schools in Janakpurdham will be closed for three days in view of the historic Vivah Panchami festival of Mithila, which is celebrated over a week.
To make the fair organized on the occasion of the festival grand, the schools will be closed starting today for three days.
PABSON, N-PABSON, and HISAN Janakpurdham, which are associated with institutional schools, jointly issued a notice stating that they have decided to close the schools.
The notice mentions that this decision has been taken to manage the crowd during the Vivah Mahotsav (wedding festival) and for the convenience of devotees and pilgrims.
Additionally, the sale and distribution of fish, meat, and alcohol have been banned throughout Janakpurdham for three days starting today.
The District Administration Office, Dhanusha, has imposed a ban on the sale and distribution of fish, meat, and alcohol from Sunday midnight until 12 AM on the 10th (of the Nepali month).
