Honor to Gopalman Shrestha at Himalayan Siddha Mahayog Meditation Center, Kaski

Narayansthan, Kaski – On the auspicious occasion of the Himalayan Siddha Mahayog Meditation & Chaturmas Vrat Ritual–2082, the former Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister of Nepal, Mr. Gopalman Shrestha, was specially honored at the Himalayan Siddha Mahayog Meditation Center, Narayansthan.

The grand ceremony, held at the Lakshminarayan Temple premises, was organized under the divine resolution of Shri Bibhusit Shrimajagatguru Shri Ramanandacharya Swami Shri Ramkrishnacharya Mahayogi Siddhababa Sadgurudev. Shrestha was felicitated with a certificate of honor, garland, and shawl.

Shukraraj Sharma, President of the Nepali Congress Gandaki Province, extended a welcome speech, praising Shrestha’s significant contributions to Nepal’s education sector, social service, political stability, and national consciousness. He further stated that Shrestha’s simple lifestyle, dedication to public service, and commitment to nation-building remain a source of inspiration for the younger generation.

Similarly, Bishwo Prakash Prasai Thakuri, founding chairperson of Nestro Nepal Samriddhi Microfinance, emphasized the role of Mahayog meditation in self-purification, self-upliftment, and spiritual awakening.

On this occasion, speakers also discussed the spiritual, social, and cultural importance of the Chaturmas Vrat Ritual and Mahayog meditation, expressing confidence that such practices foster positive energy, religious-cultural awareness, and social unity.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of local social workers, representatives of religious and social organizations, prominent figures, devotees, and practitioners. Participants shared their belief that such spiritual events contribute to religious harmony and human welfare.

As per Vedic tradition, daily rituals such as Navagraha worship, Rudrabhishek, and Havan are being performed. The ongoing Chaturmas Vrat, which began on Ashar 27, will continue until Kartik 15. During this period, the Pitri Yagna will be held during Shora Shraddha, the Durga Sahasrachandi Yagna during Navaratri, and the Shri Lakshmi Yajna during Deepawali.

The program was coordinated by practitioner Resham Khadka of the Himalayan Siddha Mahayog Meditation Center.
