Health Issues in Bajura District Hospital: Social Activists Submit Memorandum to Health Minister

A team led by Bajura's social activist, Hemraj Thapa, has submitted a memorandum to the Health Minister, Dr. Sudha Gautam, demanding improvement in the health services of Bajura District Hospital.

They went to the ministry to submit the memorandum, urging the immediate resolution of the health problems at Bajura Hospital. Social activist Thapa, who has been raising issues concerning the development, prosperity, and various problems of Bajura, stated that the issues must be addressed immediately.

The team also drew Minister Gautam's attention to the fact that the lack of specialist doctors and equipment at Bajura Hospital is hindering service delivery and causing inconvenience for citizens seeking healthcare. They demanded the provision of specialist doctors and modern equipment.

Activist Thapa informed that they visited the Ministry of Health to focus the Health Minister's attention on the health issues of Bajura district and held discussions regarding the provision of necessary specialist doctors and medical equipment for Bajura District Hospital.

According to Thapa, the citizens of Bajura are facing difficulties and are not receiving quality health services due to the shortage of adequate specialist manpower, medicines, and equipment at the District Hospital, and thus demanded an immediate solution to the problem.

The memorandum specifically demands a General Surgeon, a Physician, and a Pediatric Specialist. Regarding equipment, they requested a ventilator, a spinal traction machine for physiotherapy, the expansion of blood bank services, and the provision of necessary manpower and materials.

In response, Health Minister Gautam stated that the issues would be resolved, keeping in mind the health problems of the citizens in remote Bajura. She mentioned that she would consult with the local government and adopt a path of necessary coordination and cooperation. 

Furthermore, she committed to making every possible effort to improve the hospital and address Bajura's issues.
