RPP Leader Gyanendra Shahi Urges Nepal Police Not to Follow Corrupt Leaders’ Orders
Kathmandu — Gyanendra Shahi, leader of the Rastriya Prajatantrik Party (RPP), has urged the Nepal Police not to follow the orders of corrupt leaders. Through a post on social media platform Facebook, he appealed to the police, saying that firing at the children of the poor is wrong and inhumane.
Shahi stated, “Dear police colleagues, I urge you not to follow the orders of these corrupt leaders. Do not aim your guns at the children of the poor. This movement is yours as well, it is also the movement of your children.”
He further added that the government has kept him confined in his office. Addressing the Prime Minister, Shahi said, “Prime Minister, just because you do not have children, do not kill others’ children. Today, their mothers are at home, hoping for their children’s safety. You have no right to take away the embrace of Nepali mothers. Under no circumstances do you have that right, Prime Minister.”
