Government Expenditure Will No Longer Be Secret: Tax Details to be 'Fully Online'
Kathmandu, Nepal – The Government of Nepal has made important preparations to fully publicize all details on how and where the taxes paid by the public are being spent via a complete online system. This initiative is expected to increase transparency and accountability in government financial management.
The system being developed by the government will provide citizens with the facility to easily view the expenditure details of every aspect of tax via the internet.
Through this, the public will be able to receive real-time and immediate information on how their tax money is being utilized in education, health, infrastructure development, or any other sector.
Once this online system is implemented, important information such as the government's expenditures on various projects and programs, budget allocation, and progress reports will be made accessible to the citizens.
