Kathmandu, Nepal — Glocal After School proudly announces Skill Week 2026, a dynamic week-long celebration dedicated to promoting skill development, creativity, and youth empowerment.
Scheduled from January 11 to January 19, 2026, the event will feature immersive workshops, experiential learning spaces, competitions, exhibitions, and youth-led showcases. The highlight of the event will be Fest Day on January 16, followed by the Closing Ceremony on January 19.
About Skill Week 2026
Inspired by Glocal After School’s renowned skill-based ecosystem, Skill Week is a “week full of events, creativity, skills, inspirations, and insights.” It is designed to encourage young people to explore and develop essential life and professional skills through a diverse series of activities that blend education with fun.
From hands-on workshops to interactive sessions and infotainment-driven events, Skill Week offers an open platform for youth, educators, professionals, and organizations to come together to celebrate the power of skills.
Event Schedule Highlights
January 11–15:
Workshops, masterclasses, competitions and interactive learning sessions across a range of skill domains — leadership, technology, creativity, communication, entrepreneurship, and more.
January 16 — Fest Day:
The grand centerpiece of Skill Week!
A vibrant festival featuring skill exhibitions, live demonstrations, performances, competitions, networking spaces, youth showcase, games, and interactive installations.
Additionally, the much-anticipated CEO Unplugged forum will be held on January 16, 2026. This platform brings together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and students for panel discussions on contemporary business challenges and future possibilities under the theme of “Today Meets Tomorrow.”
January 17–18:
Insightful Industry–Academia Roundtable events and the exciting finale of the National Business Case Study Competition.

January 19 — Closing Ceremony:
A celebratory closing program celebrating and reflecting on insights gained during the week, and highlighting future pathways for young learners.
The closing ceremony will also feature the Skill Hero Awards, recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions in Art & Culture, Tourism & Hospitality, Science & Technology, and Entrepreneurship.

Skill Week 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between traditional education and real-world skills. Glocal After School aims to equip youth with practical competencies that foster confidence, enhance employability, and prepare them for an ever-evolving global landscape.
