Resunga Airport Flights Disrupted Due to Poor Weather

Gulmi, March 12 – Flights at Resunga Airport in Gulmi have been disrupted due to adverse weather conditions. Nepal Airlines Corporation, which has been operating three flights a week since the first week of Falgun, stated that regular flights could not be conducted over the past few days due to thick haze.

Suman Thapa, the station chief of Resunga Airport Gulmi, informed that flights scheduled for last Sunday and Tuesday were disrupted due to continuous thick haze throughout the week.

Following a change in the flight schedule, the corporation has been operating flights from Resunga Airport three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.

The corporation noted that it currently has only three Twin Otter aircraft and has modified the flight schedule due to a shortage of planes, as these aircraft require periodic maintenance. Currently, the airfare is set at 7,500 rupees from Kathmandu to Gulmi and 7,300 rupees from Gulmi to Kathmandu.
