Demonstration at Maitighar Demands Justice for Inisha BK

The rape and murder of 16-year-old Inisha BK from Surkhet has sparked widespread protests across the country. 

Demonstrations were held today at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu condemning the incident.

Protesters demanded strict punishment for the perpetrator and called for an end to violent incidents against the Dalit community.

Participants carried banners with slogans such as “The government changed, but society did not,” “End violence against women,” and “Justice for Inisha BK.”

Young people and Dalit rights activists organized the protest to speak out against the rising cases of violence, rape, and murder of women across the country and to demand justice for the victim.
