Global IME Bank organizes blood donation programs in all seven provinces
Global IME Bank Limited has organized a large-scale blood donation program simultaneously across all seven provinces on the occasion of its 19th anniversary. The blood donation program was organized as part of the 19 social responsibility programs announced by the bank on its 19th anniversary.
Global IME Bank has completed 19 years of establishment and entered its 20th year since Friday, Poush 18. On this occasion, the bank organized blood donation programs simultaneously in all seven provinces of the country.
Under this program, blood donation events were organized at the Tinpaini branch in Koshi Province, Bardibas branch in Madhesh Province, Kantipath and Narayangarh branches in Bagmati Province, Pokhara New Road branch in Gandaki Province, Chauraha Butwal and Nepalgunj branches in Lumbini Province, Surkhet branch in Karnali Province, and Dhangadhi branch in Sudurpashchim Province.
A total of 558 donors donated blood in the program organized in collaboration with Grande International Hospital and Nepal Red Cross Society. Additionally, the blood collected from the program will be distributed with priority given to the poor, underprivileged, and low-income individuals.
The bank has been continuously conducting various such social activities under its corporate social responsibility. Global IME Bank has been honored in different categories by various renowned national and international organizations.
