Garima Bikas Bank Launches Virtual Credit Card Service
Kathmandu – Garima Bikas Bank Limited has launched a virtual credit card service through its mobile banking app, “Garima Digi Batua,” in collaboration with Fonepay Network.
Customers can activate the service by visiting the nearest branch office, filling out the required form, and enabling it through their mobile banking app. With this virtual card, customers will be able to make payments easily at any QR code and merchant within the Fonepay network.
The service offers a credit limit ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 100,000. Customers can enjoy an interest-free credit period of up to 45 days, with the option to either pay 10 percent of the outstanding balance or settle the full amount during the repayment cycle.
Since the service is available virtually on the mobile app rather than in physical form, the bank believes it will provide customers with a safer and more innovative digital experience.
At present, Garima Bikas Bank operates 125 branch offices, 1 extension counter, and 51 ATMs across Nepal, while continuously delivering simple, secure, and quality services through its advanced digital banking channels.
