Final Phase of Editing for Short Film ‘Bachhita’

Kathmandu — The short film ‘Bachhita’, based on a true story, has entered its final stage of editing. Directed by Kamal Ekchai Magar and produced under the banner of Performing Art Creation, the film is soon to be released.

Sharing the film’s poster on social media, director Magar confirmed that the editing process is nearing completion. According to him, Bachhita highlights glimpses of the armed conflict period in Nepal and presents them with realistic depth and sensitivity.

The film’s executive producer is Krishala Magar, while the story and screenplay are written by Arush Magar. Cinematography is done by Sankalpa Bhujel, color grading by Rajendra Moktan, and editing by director Magar himself.

The film features performances by Shushila Thapa, Sunita Gaha Magar, Amrit Kaucha Magar, Bikal Lama, and Mina Purnima, among others. The team plans to release the film in the near future.
