Bhaktapur, November 13, 2025
Everest School, located at Mibachhe, Bhaktapur-2, successfully completed an Information Technology exhibition in collaboration with its UK learning partner, DG School, under the slogan "DG School for Computer Learning." The school stated that the main objective of this exhibition was to promote practical knowledge, creative thinking, and innovation related to computers among students.
DG School is a leading organization in technology-based computer education, providing computer curricula and e-learning opportunities based on United Kingdom (UK) standards and frameworks to students in schools and colleges across Nepal. This organization contributes to the development of digital literacy, technological proficiency, and future-ready skills among students through engaging and interactive British curricula.
The school noted that the current era is guided by information technology and that such exhibitions are essential to move students toward practical education rather than limiting them to books. In the context of computers, the internet, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and modern technology adding new dimensions to education, students displayed their creative models.
In the exhibition, students from classes 6 and 7 presented new applications related to daily life, child-friendly designs/inventions related to information technology, and projects concerning cyber security and artificial intelligence.
The notable participation of parents made the program even more attractive. They expressed appreciation for the students' creativity, practical knowledge, and confidence, and commended the school's efforts.
Inaugurating the program, the school's Founder-Principal, Bhakta Rajbhandari, highlighted that national development is impossible without the development of information and technology, and he shed light on the use and importance of Artificial Intelligence.
He stated that the current era belongs to Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and thus, the education of today's children should align with this. He expressed confidence that such exhibitions would help foster children's interest and use of technology.
Twenty items related to computer and information technology were displayed at the exhibition. The active roles of the school's computer and information technology teachers, staff, and students were integral to the successful execution of the program.
