EGA Pokhara Exchanges Greetings on the Occasion of Teej
Pokhara — The Embroidery and Garments Association (EGA) Pokhara organized a program to exchange greetings for women entrepreneurs associated with EGA on the occasion of the grand Nepali festival, Haritalika Teej.
The association, which regularly conducts greeting programs for major festivals, held this event specifically for Teej, EGA Pokhara President Gokarna Lamsal informed.
The program, held at Hotel Pauwa in Lakeside, Pokhara, was attended by 56 participants.
During the event, EGA Pokhara’s former president and former president of the Pokhara Tourism Council, Chiranjivi Pokharel, emphasized that Teej is an important cultural festival. He stated that it is essential to preserve its originality.
Sunti Purja, a committee member and program coordinator, mentioned that the program was conducted with everyone’s cooperation and coordination, and stressed that such support and collaboration would be necessary in the future as well.
The program was chaired by EGA Pokhara President Gokarna Lamsal and conducted by committee member Ram Krishna Timalsina, while Vice President Geeta Dhakal Paudel welcomed the participants.
During the program, goodwill members Govinda Adhikari, Kamal Sapkota, and former presidents Jivanath Gautam, Krishnakumar Shrestha, Shankar Bhattarai, and Bishwaraj Pokharel highlighted the significance of Teej and expressed their greetings.
