Dr. Krishna Raj Khanal Completes Advanced Robotic Joint Replacement Fellowship in India

Renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Krishna Raj Khanal has successfully completed a prestigious Fellowship in Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery from Sunshine Bone & Joint Institute, India, marking a significant achievement for Nepal’s medical sector.
The fellowship was completed over a one-year period from 11 August 2023 to 10 August 2024 and has been formally acknowledged by the Nepal Medical Council. Dr. Khanal, an MS Orthopaedics specialist, received official recognition through an acknowledgement letter issued on 24 July 2025.
Robotic joint replacement surgery represents one of the most advanced developments in modern orthopaedics, offering enhanced surgical precision, faster recovery, and improved long-term patient outcomes.
