Pokhara. The 15th Annual General Meeting of Darshan Cooperative and Credit Institution Limited, Pokhara, was successfully held at Nepal Thakuri Sangam Parivar, Kaski.
The meeting, held on Monday, unanimously passed the audited financial report of the institution up to the end of Ashad of the fiscal year 2081/082.
Senior shareholder member Padam Bahadur Singh emphasized that it is necessary to develop the cooperative into a proud and exemplary institution that delivers quality service.
Urging the executive committee to fulfill their respective responsibilities, Singh highlighted that the reserve fund should be increased to strengthen the cooperative and added that since the government itself has given importance to cooperatives, everyone should contribute positively to its growth.
Central Chairperson of the Thakuri Federation and founding Chairperson of Darshan Cooperative, Khim Bahadur Shahi, mentioned that the cooperative was established with the vision of uniting scattered capital of the Thakuri community. He stated that the cooperative has been playing a significant role in creating economic awareness among the people.
