Cloth Bank Donates Jackets and Blankets to Kabir Bal Ashram on New Year
Janakpurdham: Cloth Bank Nepal has started the New Year 2026 with a humanitarian act.
On Thursday morning, a team led by the Chairman of Cloth Bank, Dr. Rajiv Jha, visited the Kabir Bal Ashram. They handed over 15 jackets and 7 blankets for the children to the head of the ashram, Sant Satyanarayan Alok.
Instead of just celebrations, Dr. Jha prioritized service on the first day of the year by sharing greetings and providing help.
Several notable people attended the event, including DIG Govinda Thapaliya, social worker Amarchandra Anil, Cloth Bank Vice-President Puran Gupta, Treasurer Rubi Jha, and others like Binod Thakur, Krishna Kumar Sah, Ram Tahal Yadav, Sudip Mahato, and journalist Badrinath Jha.
During the program, speakers praised Cloth Bank Nepal for its continuous social work. They said that starting the New Year by helping others sets an inspiring example for society.
