Cancer Treatment Services to Begin at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences
Kathmandu. Cancer treatment services are set to begin at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Dang. An agreement to this effect was signed on Sunday during a formal program held at the Academy.
The memorandum of understanding was signed between the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Academy, Prof. Shyam Lamsal, and the Executive Director of B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Dr. Shivaji Paudel. The agreement focuses on expanding cancer treatment services and facilitating the exchange of necessary human resources.
Once implemented, the Academy believes the agreement will benefit residents of the former Rapti Zone and western Nepal, while also providing additional support for the expansion of healthcare services in the region.
