Himalaya Savings Hosts Open Blood Donation Program on 13th Anniversary
Pokhara – Himalaya Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited, Hemja, Pokhara-25, organized an open blood donation program on Sunday to mark its 13th anniversary.
According to the cooperative’s vice-chairperson, Chandra Prasad Subedi, 40 donors participated in the event.
During the program, chief guest Motilal Timsina, spokesperson of Pokhara Metropolitan City and Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 25, highlighted the importance of blood donation in addressing blood shortages.
The event was chaired by the cooperative’s president, Meghraj Tripathi, and included speeches by Minraj Timilsina, Secretary of Kaski Savings Association; Ramchandra Tripathi, President of Hemja Savings and Credit Cooperative; Madhav Sharan Paudel, Advisor of Himalaya Savings and Credit Cooperative; Deepak Tripathi, Coordinator of the Education Committee; and Secretary Bharatraj Adhikari.
