Ashika Tamang Departs for Darchula with Warm Clothes Purchased Through '1 Rupee Campaign'
Social activist Ashika Tamang has successfully mobilized the public through her '1 Rupee Campaign' to gather a substantial stock of warm clothing for children in Darchula.
The campaign, which was initiated to protect young children from the biting cold, received immense support, enabling the Ashika Foundation to procure a wide array of items, as shown in the video she shared on Facebook.
The packages prepared for the children include essential winter gear such as warm shoes (boots), knitted caps (topis),tracksuit sets bearing the Ashika Foundation's logo,school bags, and warm jackets.
Expressing profound gratitude to all the contributors who joined the movement, Tamang conveyed her thanks by bowing down to the ground, emphasizing the deep respect for the solidarity shown for the cause.
With all the necessary items secured to help the children brave the cold weather, the activist departed for Darchula this morning to personally distribute the aid.
