Tilak Basnet and Devi Gharti Team Up for New Folk Release 'A Mero Junmaya'
Renowned folk singers Tilak Basnet and Devi Gharti have collaborated on a brand-new Nepali folk-dance track titled "A Mero Junmaya," which was recently premiered on Tilak Basnet's official YouTube channel.
The song, which features a catchy traditional rhythm, was both written and composed by Tilak Basnet himself, showcasing his versatile talent in the Nepali music industry.
The technical production of the track was handled by Narendra Biyogi, who provided the music arrangement and mixing, while Binod Mahatara served as the recordist at Wave Studio. The audio quality reflects a high standard of modern folk production, blending traditional melodies with contemporary clarity.
The accompanying music video, directed and choreographed by Mukesh Nepali, features an ensemble cast including Sanam Bishwakarma, Laxmi Chhetri Bishwakarma, Maya BK, Ram Bahadur BK, and Man Kunmari BK.
Child artist Shreeaanshi Lamichhane also makes an appearance in the visual presentation. Captured by cinematographer Resham Darlami and polished by editor Amrit Chapagain, the video highlights vibrant cultural aesthetics and energetic dance sequences.
