Distribution of School Bags and Educational Materials for Five Thousand Students

Kathmandu: Under the coordination of Maharudra Family and with the support of NSN Pearl Green Tea Company, educational materials have been distributed to students in various locations.

Distribution programs of school bags and educational materials for around 3,500 students in Jajarkot, Kailali, Chitwan, Baglung, and Lalitpur districts have already been completed. 

According to Maharudra Family President Khagendra Pokharel, similar distributions will soon be carried out in schools across Jhapa, Ilam, and Nawalparasi districts.

NSN Pearl Green Tea Company Director Sujan Gautam stated that with the belief that “life itself is service, and service is religion,” the company has provided 5,000 sets of school bags and educational materials to support students, ensuring that no one has to carry books in their hands. He also added that such support will continue in many other places as well.

Maharudra Family has been continuously providing assistance to Nepali people affected by natural disasters and those living in remote areas. 

Social worker and activist Som Sharma highlighted that Maharudra Family is Nepal’s only religious service-oriented family and called on everyone to join the campaign.

Additionally, Maharudra Family is set to organize a Mahayagya at Pashupatinath on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, from Magh 24 to Falgun 3. 

During the Mahayagya, a special lamp-lighting ceremony will also be held in memory of the martyrs who lost their lives in the Zen Z movement, according to the organization’s Treasurer, Khem Kharel.
