105 kg of Marijuana Seized from Ambulance in Siraha, Driver Escapes

Siraha: Police in Siraha have confiscated a large quantity of marijuana from an ambulance. According to the District Police Office Siraha, the seized marijuana weighs 105 kilograms.

Police reported that after receiving confidential information on the night of August 15 (Bhadra 30) at around 8:00 PM that marijuana was being loaded into an ambulance and transported from Choharwa toward Siraha, they trailed the vehicle.

Upon spotting the police on the Postal Highway in Siraha Municipality-1, the ambulance driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. Police then took control of the ambulance and discovered 105 kilograms of marijuana hidden inside five sacks during the inspection.

The police have brought the ambulance along with the seized marijuana to the District Police Office Siraha. Further investigation into the incident and a search for the fleeing driver are currently underway.
