Zen Z Movement Demands Immediate Dismissal of Energy Minister Ghising

The Gen-Z Movement Nepal has claimed that a power purchase agreement worth approximately NPR 430 million with PTC India was made illegally through the collusion of Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Kulman Ghising and Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Manoj Silwal, labeling it an act of 'treason' (Rashtraghati).

The movement alleges that the contract was executed without the approval of the Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC), calling it a clear act of corruption.

Key Demands of the Gen-Z Movement:
The Gen-Z Movement demands the government to immediately:

• Dismiss Energy Minister Kulman Ghising and file a case against him in the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
• Suspend NEA MD Manoj Silwal and initiate an investigation under the Money Laundering Act.
• Form an independent investigation committee by the ERC to review and publicize all power agreements.
• Start legal proceedings to jail those involved in the 'treasonous' agreement and recover state assets.

The Movement has warned of a 'fierce struggle' if their demands are not met.
